I love doing amigurumis and I have started creating my own designs !

So let me introduce you to Croket the bunny. When I first thought about working on my design, I wanted to create an amigurumi for the season and what represents the season of Spring better than a cute bunny ? With Easter and Spring, it is the perfect time to add this little guy to your family !!!

So grab your hook and start to work on your Croket, Enjoy !!

Materials:

White Yarn Medium "4" acrylic "Loops & Threads"

Crochet Hook - 5 mm  

Pink embroidery thread  

Stitch marker

Needle for sewing

Pair​ of​ scissors​

Polyester fibers or other stuffing material

Safety eyes

Abbreviations:

mc - magic circle

sc - single crochet

st(s) - stitch(es)

inc - increase - work 2sc in same st

dec - invisible decrease - work the next 2sc together front loops only.

Tips: Work in a spiral and use a stitch marker to identify your first stitch for every round, if you don't have a stitch marker you can use a piece of yarn or a paper clip.

Pattern :

Part 1

Body

Round 1

Begin with a mc ch 1, work 6 sc into the mc (6 sts)

Round 2

Work 2 sc in every stitch (12 sts)

Round 3

*1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st * 6 times (18 sts)

Round 4

*1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st, 1 sc in next st* 6 times (24 sts)

Round 5

*1 sc in next st, 1 inc in next st, sc into next 2 sts* 6 times  (30 sts)

Rounds  6-12

1 sc in every st (30 sts)

Round 13

*1 sc into next 3 sts, 1 dec* 6 times (24 sts)

Round 14

*1 sc in next st, 1 dec, 1 sc in next st* 6 times (18 sts)

Start stuffing the body.

Round 15

*1 sc in next st, 1 dec* 6 times (12 sts)

Round 16

*1 dec* 6 times (6 sts)

Add more stuffing.

Fasten off leaving a long tail. Using a needle, thread yarn through each stitch, pull through to close the hole and weave in ends.

Diminutions invisibles

Pour les accros d'amigurumi voici les explications pour faire des diminutions invisibles !!!

For Amigurumi makers this is explanations to do invisible decrease !!! (english version is at the end of the post).

Diminution invisible = le but est de faire 2 mailles en une seule et que la diminution soit imperceptible.

Pour cela il faut passer le crochet uniquement dans les brins avant des 2 points.

 Ensuite faire un jeter et ramener une boucle en dessous des 2 brins puis il suffit de finir la maille serrée normalement.

 Attention pour faire le point suivant il ne faut pas prendre trop proche de la diminution.

Invisible  decrease = the purpose is to put 2 stitches together to form only one stitch and make an imperceptible decrease.

To do this you have to put your crochet under the front loop of the 2 next stitches.

After yarn over and bring the yarn under the 2 front loops then end your single crochet like usual.

Be careful for the next stitch after your decrease, do not take the same stitch you already use, you have to take the next one, marked on the picture.

Ce projet pour ma part m'a servi de "fil rouge" et je le garde pour travailler dessus entre chaque petits projets, avec ses 20 parties c'est un travail de longue haleine !!

C'est toujours un plaisir de revenir sur mon Sophie Universe avec toutes ses textures et ses différents points. 

J'ai choisi le set de couleur "Scheepjeswol Cotton 8" le projet final devrait être un carré d'un mètre.

This project for me has served as a "red thread" and I keep it working on it between each little project, with its 20 parts it is a long work !!

It's always a pleasure to come back to my Sophie Universe with all its textures and stitches.

I chose the set of color "Scheepjeswol Cotton 8" the final project should be a one meter square.

Mes petites pieuvres pour bébés prématurés m'ont pris beaucoup de temps mais voilà ou j'en suis de mon Sophie à l'heure actuelle !!!

J'en suis très fière et je compte bien le terminer et vous mettre une ou 2 photos une fois que tout sera finalisé !!

Alors voilà une autre aventure pour les petits prématurés du Québec commence, je fais partie du groupe Facebook Petites Pieuvres Québec 

C'est une action mondiale qui rassemble beaucoup de tricoteuses et crocheteuses de partout !!!!

Si l'expérience vous tente vous pouvez prendre contact avec un groupe facebook dans votre coin !

Pour ma part je souhaite m'investir dans cette belle aventure, alors merci aux ambassadrices de ma région qui sillonne les routes pour récupérer toutes les petites pieuvres et se mettent en relation avec les hôpitaux !!

Pour le moment je n'ai pas encore fait de petites pieuvres qui correspondent aux diverses instructions (qui peuvent différer selon les régions et les attentes des hôpitaux) Par exemple pour la première j'ai suivi  les instructions trouvées sur le groupe canadien et ils ne préconisaient pas de mettre les fibres de rembourrage dans un bas de nylon alors que pour le Québec c'est non négociable pour les risques de suffocation.

 Cette petite là, Verdy de son petit nom, ne sera pas donné à un prématuré ... mais je lui trouverai une famille d'adoption sans soucis !!

Et voici maintenant Rosie qui elle respecte les normes Québécoises mais qui n'a pas été malheureusement assez rembourrée !!! Les règles sont drastiques mais c'est normal nous faisons cela pour des tous petits bébés !!!

 Je ne désespère pas la troisième sera la bonne !!!!

Alors si vous voulez partager l'info et faites des petite pieuvres pour que l'épidémie de pieuvrite aigue se propage !!!

Laine blanche Médium "4" acrylique "Loops & Threads"
Crochet 5 mm
Fil à broder rose
Marqueur de rang
Aiguille à laine 
Paire de ciseaux 
Fibres de polyester ou tout autre matière pour remplir (vieux tissus, restes de laine...)
Yeux sécurisés,

Abréviations:

cercle magique = MC                  magic circle = MC

mailles serrées = ms                     single crochet  = SC

augmentation = aug                           increase = inc

Faire un CM et faire 6 ms dans ce CM. (6 points)

Petit conseil : Utiliser un marqueur pour identifier les premiers points de chaque rang, si vous n'avez pas de marqueurs vous pouvez utiliser un morceau de laine ou un trombone. 

Dans chaque point faire 2 ms (= une augmentation dans tous les points) sur tout le rang. (12 points)

Rang 3

Répéter 6 fois *1 ms puis 1 aug*. (18 points)

Pour ceux qui ne savent faire de pompom, moi j'utilise les "pompom maker" de Clover c'est très facile à utiliser et ça fait de très jolis pompoms bien fournis !

Fleur

Pour marquer l'arrivée du printemps j'ai voulu rajouter une petite fleur mais c'est selon votre goût!!

Voilà le lapinou est terminé !!

1 SC  in every stitch around. (8 stitches)

Stuff slightly with fibers.
Faten off, leaving a long strand of yarn to sew on the body.

Rear Legs (twice)

MC add 6 SC in the MC. (6 stitches)

In each stitch add 2 SC (= increase in every stitch around) until the end of the row. (12 stitches)

Round 3
Repeat 6 times *1 SC, 1 inc*. (18 stitches)

Pompom tail

For those who do not know how to do pompom, I use the "pompom maker" Clover is very easy to use and it makes very nice fluffy pompoms !!

Flower

To highlight spring becoming I wanted to add a small flower, It is optional !
